The Grianán of Aileach is an impressive Ring Fort in Donegal overlooking the Inishowen peninsula. It is thought to be one of the Royal sites of Gaelic Ireland, associated with the Tuatha de Danann who worshipped Dagda.  Its name Grianán meaning “of the sun” is thought refer to it’s commanding views over three counties. She has made this pendant with different textures of silver to represent the different levels of the fort. It is enhanced with a semicircle of gold filled wire to represent the Sun!

It is hallmarked in the Assay Office in Dublin Castle Ireland
