Garret completed a 2 years course in the Ferdinand Fillod School of metal arts in France, where he learned the art of working with the forge, heating and sculpting metal to form pieces of unique works that can take any form, such as furniture, stairs, indoor and outdoor decor, sculptures. The imagination being the only barrier.

Garret went on to further his knowledge working with several blacksmith in France and Ireland. Then for several years in an engineering firm doing a wide variety of fabrication.
Eventually Garret decided to open his own forge designing and making items to meet the client needs in Co galway
