Louis Le Brocquy (1916-2012)
Louis Le Brocquy was one of Ireland’s best known painters of the twentieth century. He is widely acclaimed for his “Portrait Heads” of Literary figures and fellow artists. He is the only person to be included, in his lifetime, in the National Gallery of Ireland. He is also represented in London and the Tate Gallery in New York.
